TEAM PICTURE ANNOUNCEMENT

Notice to AYSA Coaches:

WELCOME!

Every team has been scheduled for pictures on a specific date and time. It is important that order envelopes be distributed to players at least one week before pictures and that ALL team players and their parents are informed about the date and time so that they arrive on time. Although there is no obligation to buy (and some players don't want an individual) the league would like to see every player in the team picture. Players who show up late hold up the team from having their team picture taken, so encourage them to be on time! It is important that players also notify either the coach or the team parent if they know they will be absent.

Players who are absent the day of pictures have two options: 1) If they know they will be absent ahead of time they should see the photographer the week before and have their picture taken, or 2) They should notify the photographer so that they can make-up their picture the following week. Only players who make-up their pictures one week before or after their scheduled date will be included (edited) in the team picture. All others may still have a make-up, but won't be in the team pictures that are printed for others players. There will also be an editing fee of $5.00 if they wish to be edited in. It is important that they speak directly with the photographer in order to schedule their make-up time. They can call Joni at the phone number printed on their order forms.

Our goal this year is to get pictures back in a timely fashion. Holding up the printing process for "make-ups" delays everyone from getting their pictures!

In the event of rain the photographer will not be able to take pictures even if games are still going to be played. Last year we had days where we started taking pictures, we'd stop because of rain, and then resume when the rain stopped. If the entire day is rained out the photographer will call either the coach or the designated team parent to reschedule for another week. Unfortunately, it may be a few weeks later due to previously scheduled teams the following week. It will be up to each team to notify ALL their players about the new date and time.

A special net will be set-up in a designated area for the photographer to take team pictures. It is important that you let your team know where that area will be so that players and their parents won't be confused, frustrated and late!
